How long after completion of IVA do you recieve interest from PPI claims ?

Hi,

It will depend upon the company as to whether you get any interest back or not as the majority of PPI claims get paid straight to the IP.

Grant Thornton have told me I will get the interest back from the ppi next year
Last payment made August 2012 Certificate of Completion recieved 15th of Novenber 2013.

Doesn't sound like a fast process so just make sure they don't forget you along the way and if it were me I would periodically just ask them for an update.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Please can you tell me if you are entitled to interest on PPI we completed 2 yrs ago a recent PPI payment went to our IP £7000 of the payment is interest who is entitled to this.

Our legal advice states that the interest belongs to the creditors but it is a taxable income. Therefore we will reimburse our clients the money to pay HMRC unless the bank or ourselves account directly to HMRC for the tax due. This is more common now.

Other firms operate differently.
