Hi

I'm thinking of making a f&f into my IVA, in which my dad has offered to make because the stress I am under. I make monthly payments of £174 a month and have 36 month left. I have paid into the IVA over £7000 and my total debt was £31,000.
Do you think £7000-£8000 is a reasonable offer?

Hi. You have £6264 to pay in if you make the next 36 payments, assuming you have no equity to be looked at. I would suggest an offer of £6000 would be more than generous. It would give everyone almost what they signed up for as well as save them a chunk in admin costs.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

HI and welcome, hope Foggy's reply has helped you and good luck with your F&F offer.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Good luck from me as well - hope it gets accepted.

Hiya, I have just done the same, I owed just short of 6k on my IVA and offered 5k and it was accepted without any problems.

£6k is a good suggestion by Foggy (as long as there is no property equity to be dealt with that might lead to an extension of the IVA)
