Hello, my full and final settlement offer was accepted on the 10th December 2014 completing my IVA 11 months early. It has now been 6 months and I am still waiting for the completion certificate, does it normally take this long?
Many thanks

Unfortunately the time it takes for your certificate to arrive depends on each set of circumstances and to a certain extent who your IP is. If PPI requirements are still outstanding or creditors have not yet submitted their final claims this will also impact.

The issue of the CC takes as long after an early settlement as with the full term arrangement and, to a degree also depends on which company you are with. Some take a few weeks, others take a full 6 months plus.

I would drop them a line asking if there is any particular hold up and if there is anything they need you to do.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

My F&F was paid in October 2014, still waiting for my CC as one creditor is taking forever to confirm their receipts of dividends etc. Very frustrating indeed :-(
IVA Accepted - Sep 2009
F&F Accepted - Oct 2014
CC Received - Jul 2015

Hi Jayne - contact your IP and ask them what the holdup is. 6 months is excessive.
