Hi I have made a F&F to GT for my IVA which they seem confident will be accepted. (Payments in goal would have been £7500 if went full term and I offered £7k)

The decision meeting is this Thursday.

I wanted to ask ... If it is accepted am I then free in terms of my earnings ? I would like to start looking at other employment to try and get myself back on track. I need to try and but my ex out of our house too.

You are free with regard to your earnings, but will still be liable if you win the lottery or are left any money in a Will until you have the certificate in your hands. PPI will also still be payable into the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Thankyou for the reply.

I have already had PPI searches done via GT but fully understand refunds and windfalls and winnings would need to be declared.

Thsts great news ..... it would be brilliant to start rebuilding ASAP.

Fingers crossed for Thursday :o)

Hi

I am sure that your offer will be accepted, you can then look to improve your earnings knowing that you will receive the full benefit

Interesting to see how long it takes to receive your completion certificate

Based purely on posts I have seen on this forum I understand GT are slow at closing cases so you may have a while to wait for your CC. I hope to be proven wrong though.

Rubbish it took so long to get your CC but glad you got there in the end. Well done and best of luck for the future!
