Hi, I completed an IVA in 2013 and since then EIC have been dealing with PPI. Today I receive a letter from GT stating that a new Law firm are now dealing with PPI claims and I have to sign letters to say I am happy for them to act. I am really fed up as I have done the same with EIC over 2 years ago. Do I have to sign these letters or can I say enough is enough!!
The new firm, Slater Hayward Law did my PPI and are far more efficient than EIC --- who seem to rumble on forever. SHL did all of my PPI during the term of the IVA ( which only ran for 2 and a half years ), didn't slow down completion and I haven't heard from them since.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
As there is a deed of assignment in place technically it is an issue between GT, EIC and SHL.
You only need to be notified that they will be progressing things in future.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Great; CF use EIC (they're all co-directors of each others' companies).
I have no issue with PPI being checked during my IVA but if it holds up the issuing of the CC they'll have one pissed-off bloke on their hands..
We have not had a letter of GT telling me about a change of PPI company so does that mean EIC are still doing ours it was nearly complete were just waiting on 1 more of mine and 1 more of hubbies.
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine
