My husband and me went BR in Sep 2009, and this year we should be able to have the BR moved from our credit file. Will this then allow us to apply for credit?

You are free to apply but if a lender asks if you have ever been insolvent you should say yes!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Welcome to the forum. Once it is cleared you are free to apply but like foggy says if asked about past debts and ibsolvency you will need to be honest.

The BR will be removed automatically from your credit file 6 years from the date of the BR order.
