we entered into our iva in july 2013,we were lucky due to ppi payouts we were able to finish iva in oct 2014,i need to know how long it takes to be registered as solvent again and be able to apply for credit.

6 years from july 2013 which will be july 2019 before it drops off your credit history
cc received 6th January 2014 now upwards and onwards

It will remain on file for 6 years from the start date as will any defaults.

Not 100% sure about the previous replies? As far as I'm aware you are solvent and can start applying for credit again from the moment your completion certificate is issued (or even within the period of you IVA dependent on the terms of the arrangement).

Yes you can apply for credit but as the IVA is on your credit history you may find it hard to get it accepted.
We applied for Vanquis cards immediately and got them. This is mainly as a back up and to improve our credit score (eventually!!)
