Our IVA numbers DID NOT show, so please dont worry too much. The postie remarked on the red envelopes as they are A4 and v obvious so I said it must be advertising or something
Worrying that some are showing though

It's probably down to how they stuffed the envelopes, or how the paper moved inside the envelope. They should have checked that, it is clear to any office worker, surely, that A4 papers in A4 envelopes sometimes move and things can be seen through the window. I know if I am sending out anything senitive I make damn sure that nothing will show even if the contents move a bit.

I have just got mine, and you can clearly see the IVA ref number. Its in a great big envelope and looks so unusual, not at all like junk mail. I just thank god my parents weren't here or they would have thought, Whats this??? I'm really quite annoyed at this infringement of my privacy. Unacceptable.

Literally mine just come through the letter box, my wife saw it and said "what the hell is that!" She knows about the IVA so no issue there. Not sure how the IVA ref number is visible on some of the comments above as the number is on the opposite side of the page to my address. Quite glad I can set up the new SO myself with my online banking though.

Wow ... Someone has had a sense of humour bypass [8D]. There's a lot to be unhappy about whlst in an IVA (I should know) but keepng your sense of humour intact is vital ... gets ya through some hard days.

Well, no response from creditfix on here today about this! I did email my contact who has told me she understands my concerns and will forward my email to the relevant dept. I know there's not much that can be done now, but an apology would have been appreciated. If it had been a one off mistake, I doubt we would have got so upset about it all, but it just seems to be one thing after another, and when you're still waiting for your annual review from last October, something like this is even more upsetting.
