That could be a consideration ivamess.

Do your parents know about the IVA ? If so it might be possible to re-write the will with this in mind.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I usually advise my clients about wills if they are due to inherit. There are ways to protect the inheritance and any decent solicitor could do this for you but it would mean you would have to inform your parents. However it is their money and perhaps they would prefer it went to your siblings, children or was held on trust rather than going to your creditors.

I'm just abiding by the terms of my IVA currently. I have submitted my payslip showing income with uplift due owed due to commission; there will be another at the end if this month. They've chosen to ignore my emails and chasing so I'm just sticking the cash into savings until such time as it's asked for. I do not know exactly how much is required (PJG used to reply same-day with the amount which I would transfer immediately). I don't want to send the money in until I have confirmation of an amount from CF add this will make it easier to identify (and I'm also wary of sending too much, I can imagine it would be a nightmare to get back from them).

I've done my bit as far as I'm concerned. What a b***** shambles so far...

Hi

It should be easy to calculate. Post review, I had a letter from PJG telling me what my uplift threshold was set at.

Did you get the same?

Anything above that, I send 50%. I've too asked for confirmation. Not a dickie-bird!

So I'm keeping fastidious records. Every pay slip, every calculation and copies of bank statements showing the uplift amount going to their account.

Not that I think they would in any way try to rip me off, not at all. Rather, I'm concerned they may lose records as they seem to be somewhat haphazard at the moment.

Yes Hubert I also type everything into the threshold spreadsheet given to me by PJG ! Its a valuable piece of XML code and one that keeps me under the radar :-)

Again only received one letter welcoming me to creditfix. They must be doing it in waves I'm guessing.

Anyways this forum is excellent and a god send for all of us especially the folks that were sold down the river.

On a lighter note..... Everyone have a great Christmas and new year !! We b***** Deserve it :-)

I sent off my annual review information to PJG back in September and haven't seen or heard a thing since.

I've done my part and notified CF of my situation; their inability to communicate isn't my problem. Everything I need to have done I've done on time and it's traceable by email.

It's not my job to do their job. If they continue to be a disaster (some others' threads here make for worrying reading..) then I'll write and complain, send a letter to the Financial Ombudsman staying no confidence in my IP and failure of them to carry out their duties in a timely fashion and investigate ways of moving IP. I need to let CF screw up properly and consistently first though.

If they're reading all this (and they should be!): come on Credit Fix, get things sorted out please!

I hate to think what they're going to be like to deal with further down the line. I'm seriously concerned.

My only concern with this at the moment is them trying to backdate increased payments due to their delays in getting reviews sorted.

Could an expert give an opinion on this? If an IVA company takes ages to sort a review can they demand back payments?

I think not as I hardly see them refunding money when a late review shows a drop in payments.
