Hi,

Post IVA and i have took the plunge to ask for a small loan from Tesco Bank so we can get a new car.
I want no other credit especially credit cards but i have applied and gone all through their criteria and it has been agreed in principle and are sending me paperwork out.
I have never heard of this before but what does it mean.
I have a cleaned up credit report with no defaults and am wondering have i got it or not.

I think and stand to be corrected it means based on the information provided so far it looks ok but could still be declined (maybe they have other checkd to do).
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

As Lesley says it means based on the information provided they will lend. However, they may ask for back up such as wage slips, I.D. and proof of residency but I think you will be okay. Let us know.

It's clean maybe, but it will have six years of clean and by your reckoning that makes you forever 24 as it rolls over, year on year, on a six year margin. If only...

Hi andrew,,,been tentatively following your last couple of threads....is money in the bank & a new set of wheels been purchased??
IVA COMPLETED & CLEAN CREDIT FILE.

An old bible proverb says this: the rich one rules the poor, and the borrower is a slave to the lender.

How true are those words of wisdom.
