Hi
Just to give others hope if they have to go down this route. We started in May 2008 owing £79200 now done to the last 11 months and we will be debt free. It has been a long road but we will not make the same mistake again. Good luck to everyone on your debt free journey whichever route you decide to take.

Great post, well done on almost completing, hope the remainder goes smoothly for you.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I wanted to try and pay as much of the money back that I could and thought I would try the dmp first as I had quite a good monthly payment.if my dmp hadn't gone well I knew that I would have the iva too fall back on.
