Hi. Can someone please help.

Today was supposed to be my last iva payment. I checked with the bank that it had gone out my account. Rang grant thornton to ask if it was ok to cancel the direct debit, they said as long as it had left the bank I could.. Checked my text balance today and its reappeared in my bank. I cancelled to early. Sat worrying now. Could anyone tell me if this would make my iva fail? I'm ringing tomorrow to make a manual payment but so worried :(

Thank you struzzo. I've had one sleepless night! I contacted grant thorntons customer service at 6am and they said they can't see a problem but to ring back at 9. Hope your both right! Thanks for the reply

Thank you Bridgey [:)]. I've been worried sick from 10pm last night. My mistake.. A little to eager to cancel it, but also quite narked with gt and the coop for saying it was fine to do so.
Fingers crossed it will be as simple as you say :)))

I'm sure it will be and I'm confident you'll have now made your last payment maybe by card over the phone. Enjoy your deb free future.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

So pleased it went ok for you despite the little hiccup at the finish line.

Thank you Lesley :)
I guess I had to have a hiccup at some point- I've been fortunate to have little problem throughout the 60 months. It did put 10 years on me though!
