He's crazy with them dogs Melanie! I could put a picture on FB, I'll see, it's not a new car just an updated one for me...but even if I do say so myself it's a nice one.

Thank you, will only show the chocolate lab but the other will come too.

Been so long don't expect anything but it's the taking part that counts or so they say. x

Hi Lesley, thank you for sharing your story. I must ask though... When did the fact that you were 'debt free' sink in? We had our F&F accepted on Wednesday yet I'm still walking round like I have debt?! We keep saying 'Debt Free & chinking our coffee mugs/glasses of squash/glass of wine' Still it seems not real!! Are we really Debt free? Eeeek! I know we have a long way to go as our IVA has finished after 25 months so we still need to see out the 4 years before our credit score is resurrected.
Enjoy the dog show, I used to go with my parents as a child to show our dogs. Such a happy memory :-)
**23'04'14 - IVA Complete F&F Agreed with payments made to date oh and a fat PPI reclaim helped too. Completion Certificate received 23'10'14 ** After a couple of years of waking up and 'surviving' the day I now wake up and 'Live' for the day!!
**Any comments I make are purely my own opinions**

Great post Lesley, looking forward to the pics. Good luck with the showing. @ jules it sunk in when I didn't have a payment to make, coming off the register and finally celebrating with a bottle when the piece of paper ( certificate ) came through the door. Also after six years my credit file is top notch!!!! Well done on completing x
5 years done and dusted. Certificate received.

Hi had a wonderful day today thank you all for asking. I didn't enter them in anything but I went in the ring with a professional trainer and helped with a 11 month old rescue lab's training. It was wonderful as obedience is my thing and if I had my way it's what I'd do all day every day but sadly NO!

When did I realise I was debt free, I think it was after I received the certificate and the credit files were cleaned up. Last week applying for finance was a nervy experience as I was convinced they would say no but surprisingly they didn't and to be fair, I'm expecting something to change before Thursday when we're due to pick car up. I'm awaiting the call to say 'sorry we've made an error'.

I think if this goes through fine now that all credit files are cleaned up and certificate removed then I'll be convinced I'm debt free. We've kept a very frugal lifestyle I do admit so do have security of a bit of savings behind us which is good.

You will all get there it's a journey that some of us have completed and others at varying stages but it does come to an end of that I'm sure.

I plan on staying around hopefully at the minute I'm struggling for time as I've taken on a new role at work that actually starts in September but starting the training now, but having to continue to teach too alongside (which I'm giving up in July), so it's a bit hit and miss at the minute but hoping to continue.
