Hi. Have a chat with one or both of our forum whole of market advisers: Ryan and Shaun.

Their details can be found by clicking on the "Ask a Question" link ( top left) and scrolling down to the experts details.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Until your iva comes off your credit record you are likely to find it difficult to gain a mortgage. As foggy suggests have a chat with Ryan or Shaun and seek their advice.

Was it extended at the outset, or has it been extended for some reason during the IVA?

I still don't understand why the IVA has been extended due to negative equity!

Hi Mel, it seems looking at is i had about 2500 in equity, i had the following in my terms
At the start of your IVA creditors added the following modification to your original proposal;

If the debtor is unable to obtain a remortgage the arrangement may be extended by 12 months in order the allow contributions in lieu of equity.
Does that makes sence ?
