Hope you get sorted soon. Iva's are no easy ride but worth it. Starting to see a shimmer of light at the end of our tunnel

As Latitudee says, there will be days ( a few of them!) when you feel like a second class citizen --- but, when it is all done and dusted, you will be at the top of the hill !!

A rare creature who has a clean credit file and is DEBT FREE !!!

Since becoming an adult I do not think I have EVER been debt free .. until now. I owe nothing to anybody .... and it will stay that way.

Thankyou for all your advice. I can reduce my payments but I would have to extend the time of the IVA and I don't want to do that so will battle on! :) :) x

Why can't they simply call a variation meeting to get creditors to accept lower payments? Very easy to do - I did two such reports for two of my clients just this afternoon. I really fail to see why you should struggle on, and have a miserable life, when creditors are usually very amendable to variations.

Melanie,

They had made a mistake with how much I pay in council tax so the Surplus that I pay they say is correct.

Do you concur with their opinion? How much do you feel you can realistically afford to pay comfortably?
