It is now over the 6 year mark since the start of my IVA and all my defaults have gone.!!!!
The only thing still on there doing me up is IVA Completed and start date of 12/02/14.
it is now the 19/02/14 and it is still showing on my credit file.
How do i get it off!!! as it is impairing my credit rating as it is 7 days over the 6 year mark from when it commenced.
Any Help PLEASE!!![:(!]

It should drop off when they update -- which they don't do daily -- so it might take a few more days. In the meantime, an email to the CRA won't do any harm.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

This is driving me mad Foggy!!!.
There is going to come a time when as we all do when we need a loan for something like a car as ours is well over 10 years old i am looking to maybe next year borrowing £2000 with me putting the rest out of savings for a newer car.
The car i have at the moment is having problems and even though i have finished the IVA don't want to be wasting money on needless repairs as the car is now losing it's value.
I would rather save and borrow minimal but just need this IVA to drop off my credit file as it now 6 years plus!!!.
I already have a nice home so just borrowing for a new car will be the only credit we will have as there is no way i am getting a credit card again and going down that route as that is a definite no no!!!
just borrow within my means only!!!!

the saving grace of this story is that my Car even through the 5 year IVA done us proud with no massive car bills or repairs only tax and MOT was all we had to pay out.
So if you are in an IVA and have a Vauxhall Astra 1.6 X Reg they last for ages!!!!.
anyway i wonder how far my credit rating will improve as i have no defaults and have virginmedia and Orange on file which has been there for 5 years with excellent repayment history.
