I have a couple of queries: first, as a customer of Virgin Media, should that feature as part of my credit report? Second, is it worth trying to repair credit whilst in the final 6 months of IVA? I know a credit card will be out of reach, but I was looking at the pre-paid card + credit builder.
Thank you.

It won't hurt to check your files and make sure all the default dates are correct so they drop off in accordance with the correct dates.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Yep- virgin media will be on your credit file. & to be honest ( although this is only my opinion) I don't think trying to obtain a credit card will make much of a difference to your credit rating until all defaults & iva have dropped off.
We've found ( with experian) that as soon as they took the iva off our files & the fact that my husband has mobile contract & virgin being paid on time everymonth with no missed payments our ratings are in the excellent nearly 999 range. ( for myself all I have is a bank account on there that I keep in good order & yet my credit score is 976)
But those credit rating don't mean anything until all defaults have dropped off- why bother with a credit card if those other things prove a good history of payment?
so I personally think this getting a credit card to rebuild your credit rating is an urban myth!! Unless of course someone in the banking/financial credit rating sector can categorically prove otherwise!!
IVA COMPLETED & CLEAN CREDIT FILE.
An old bible proverb says this: the rich one rules the poor, and the borrower is a slave to the lender.
How true are those words of wisdom.

Thanks for the responses so far. It's an obvious minefield this credit repair issue.
