Hi

I have an IVA with DFD and have written, emailed and telephoned them on several occasions regarding outstanding queries relating to completion of the IVA. I realise that calls to them will be busy at times but waiting for over 15 mins at a time is excessive and their is no excuse for them not replying to emails sent, as there messaging service suggests we do.
My original query dates back to 15th October and i have emailed, written and provided additional information to support my request over the past 3 months. I received 2 emails from DFD promising information then nothing. They have not even had the courtesy to phone me when they say they will to phone me . I have requested the matter be taken up by my IP as a formal complaint and considering the matter also be sent to the FOS. Can any one suggest what steps i take next as i am very dissatisfied with DFD at the moment especially when i am on the verge of completing my repayments early. Thank you

Well,best of luck.
I have been making contact on and off regarding my CC as the last payment was a year ago.
This whole PPI thing is a reall mess.
I stuck hard with my IVA over 5 years , paid my monthly amount, budgeted and I can't even have my certificate as closure to move on.

Same here. I have done my own PPI and saved 25% - which now is in the IVA pot in addition to the funds, and took 71 months to completed IVA with a extension. But you just know it may not go smoothly. Im at 68 down 3 to go and cream crackered - long slog. Know I did all I can to pay a decent amount back. Slightly short of 100% aint bad lol :-(

You cannot raise complaints against IPs to the Financial Ombudsman once an IVA has been accepted. You would need to use the complaints gateway operated by the Insolvency Service, who may then refer you to the IPs own regulatory body if they feel that your complaint warrants further investigation - but do always use the IPs own internal complaints procedure initially.
