Hi

Just want to say after a long 5 years we have finally reached the end of our IVA and our completion certificate was received today. It has made me so happy!!!

We received it quicker than I thought from Grant Thornton as we only had our f & f accepted on 26th June 2013. I have nothing but praise for them though I know there has been a lot of people who have had problems with GT. I must have been one of the lucky ones as whenever I have contacted them I have received a response really quickly. They even sent a copy of the CC by email as well as by post.

To all of you who are just beginning the IVA it is well worth it and the feeling at the end is one of relief and happiness.

To those of you who are part way through it keep going. I can't pretend it has been easy over the past 5 years but we have got there in the end.

Thank you to this forum for supporting us when we have felt it is hard going and a struggle.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas x

what a nice post everhopeful...all the very best to you and your family...I have two payments left to complete my IVA and yes it has been a struggle at some times over the last 5 years but it could have been a lot worse!
Although I have not contributed that much to this forum, I have found the information and advice invaluable.
To all the forum members and especially the 'experts' have a very Happy Christmas and a good New Year

Great News, Everhopeful --- this will make an even better Christmas :-)

I agree with you, GT have always been good with their service to me. As ever, those at the "coalface" get slammed for the actions and policies of those at the top.

Merry Christmas.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
