Can anybody tell me what the latest allowance is for children's school meals per month.
We have two teenagers at school costing us £ 2.20 a day totalling £ 88 for month for the two of them .

School meals as per the Stepchange guidelines are £50 per month per child. You need to remember though that is is just a guideline amount.

When was your IVA approved? Does your IVA company use the Stepchange Guidelines? They were updated on 1st October 2013, however saying that the guideline for school meals per child have been this amount for a while.

What you do need to remember is that it's only a guide and it's not written in stone. If you're stuggling to make your payments on your IVA, then you need to speak to your IP and go through your I&E.

Assuming that your children are in school for 39 weeks each year, then you need a budget of £71 per month - so £40 per child seems more than reasonable
