Hi all,

Just a quick question, does anyone know the average time it takes for the iva/ccj details to be removed from Equifax and Noddle/callcredit.

Having received my CC (completion dated 26 sept, after 6 years 7 months from start of iva) my iva was removed from the insolvency register and Experian within a matter of a few days.

So I'm just looking for advice on whether to chase up the CRA's with a copy of my CC or just wait a month or so, first.

Just a thought it might be interesting to see how long it generally takes others to have a clear credit report from all 3 agencies following removal from the IR.

Thanks,
All the best,

Regards Daz (webspark)

Hi webspark,

I would say you have nothing to lose by chasing them up but lets see what others have experienced, as those agencies may be known for taking slightly longer.

Hi All,

Final update from me regarding CRA's.
I'm finally all clear from all three credit agencies (HOORAY !!).

Well the results were Experian 1st, Call Credit 2nd, both these agencies updated my credit report within days of receiving my CC without any input from myself.
Bringing up 3rd place is Equifax, (my settled date for the IVA was showing one year on from my IVA start date!) I contacted them through their support site ( still cannot understand why you need a different id and password to submit questions relating to your own credit report !!) then I followed up with a phone call, (4 days later via the 0844 number quoted when you login to their site) as i hadn't received a reply.
The lady I spoke to was very helpful and polite (I was told my credit report would be updated with 10 working days).

Well surprised within two days my Credit Report has been updated and all references to IVA removed.

So with the minimum of effort my CR has repaired itself, so for other forum members thinking of chasing up the CRA's, maybe you should just give it a few weeks before chasing and you should see results.

Cheers,
All the best,

I would suggest to everyone waiting 28 days before chasing anything up as that gives the agencies time to do their thing.

Glad your all sorted Daz.

Thanks Paul, Good advice to recommend 28 days, even though it's tempting to check daily. (Well it was in my case LOL) [:D]

Take care,
