I attempted a F&F twice, both times failed. I have a surplus of approx £25. No option but to fail it and petition for BR. sUCH IS LIFE :-(

Why did your attempts to vary the terms of the IVA fail?

Hi Melanie

I made two attempts for the F&F of £2200 as I had changed jobs which left me worse off >£230 PM. I had thought of just going straight in to BR but it was the IP firm which suggested this, which was a good idea. Alas it wasn't to be

Sometimes, and in my own experience, you cannot win with creditors, but at least you tried and can now go forth with your bankruptcy in the knowledge that you did everything you could. I assume that your IP firm are helping you with the process?

Very true Melanie and with your experience in this field its heartening to hear that. I haven't engaged my IP firm with this yet as trying to get my head round the 'what ifs'.
