Hi Forum,

I have recieved my certificate of completion today. Thank you to Judith from DFD for helping with this. I paid back 100p in every £1, which is something I could never had imagined when I think back to 5 1/2 years ago!

I now need to remove the defaults from my credit record. The 3 companies are Max Recovery, Nat West and Lloyds TSB. Has anyone had success with emailing the data controllers to have this information removed?
If so please can I have the email addresses?

Failing that the addresses of these data controllers would be appreciated.

Many thanks
Martin

Hi, well done on getting through. If you give the crediors a ring you will find them (believe it or not) very helpful, in my case I found that they were also eager to tidy up their paperwork and they have quiite alot of people working on these issues. I guess at this point they no longer have am axe to grind. Insolvency register will just drop away, mine went within a few days and then you need to check your credit files with Epxperian, Equifax and callcredit. check that the defaults and the IVA are correctly dated and hese should also clear up. It took me a while to sort out odds and end on my credit file, but my score is now right back up to normal, in fact because the mortgage runs for the duration of the IVA, when everything else comes off the files your crdit score shoots up to well above average. One thing to be ware of however it that as soon as that happens you wil start to receive credit offer through the post once again so worth calling them as they arrive and get yourself removed from their mailing lists.
IVA finished June 2011
