Does anyone know if an entry on the credit report has a nil balance and the settlement date is within 6 years will it still have an adverse effect? There are no defaults showing, just a nil balance. On a seperate note I am having issues with Experian not removing my IVA from my report, I have sent them my CC but they are dragging their feet updating my details. The other 2 CRAs have. My 6 years was up in June this year so it is really frustrating.

I don't think it will have an affect - I would have thought it would be no different to a closed loan or credit card showing on your file. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be able to confirm.

I agree that it shouldnt have a negative affect, an entry such as this is simply showing the account has been paid in full
