why is it that we keep getting statements from our creditors saying we have not paid anything ? we are 4 years into our IVA with simple debt solutions I keep wondering if what we are paying is getting swallowed up with their fees/commission

Hi Carole, I know how you feel. I also have an agreement through SDS and I still get regular statements saying I have missed my latest payment.

I did call SDS and they said it is normal for this to happen, they didn't say why though and when I asked I got the feeling I was being fobbed off but I suppose we will see what will happen at the endof the 5 years

Your annual review report should show what has been paid to creditors ... Our creditors used to receive two payments a year which were reported on the annual report.

Soeak to your IP and ask them to provide you with a breakdown of what has been paid for so far.

Some creditors maintain the original debt on paperwork until the end of the IVA so it may be that reason.
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
