There are lies, dammned lies and then there are statistics.

17% of all traffic accidents are caused by Drunk drivers...................

...........so 83% are caused by sober drivers.

Statistically it is safer to drive when drunk!

OK -- it is an emotive example, but just to illustrate how statistics can be manipulated.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Wow... lots of feedback - At this stage they are just asking would you be willing? Then if you agree and you're "picked" that's when you'd get your say...
Do I personally have any issues with GT? No (not yet) can I be bothered to sit for one hour face to face with a researcher to tell them anything ? probably not. But... Lord help the interviewer if they get someone who's been waiting months and months even years for a CC - Tin hats at the ready please [:)]

That must be the letter came to my house. For my ex partner who does not live at this house and has never in the three years since our separation. He has not given gt his up to date address. I gave it to my solicitor to deal with. Funny how it was not the one who has had to deal properly with gt that gets the request to help them be more helpful. Obviously the employees were not aware who is getting the letters as I phoned them to check what I needed to do with the letter and it was not in my file. One of my big objections is gt getting supposedly independent third party organisations to work on their behalf and letting them use the gt brand. Eif ring my partner up on my phone once a week claiming to be gt, but you can tell that it is not gt, by the phone number and the fact that in 6 years of contact gt have never pgoned me up without writing to me first.

Hi Joanna - if you had a joint IVA I think for some very dated reason they always use the male name to write too
I'm the main earner in the home here yet everything that comes fom GT is addressed to the hubby.
Seeing as its joint should be to both is us. Unless of course we're still in 1974. :)

Apparently EIC and GT sit in the same building across from each other...and still they dont communicate they was sending my mail to a random address in doncaster hence why im putting in a breach of the data protection act.
Time to end of IVA 0 days
Time to end of GT dealing with it...CC recieved after a battle royal !!

I have just received this letter and am so looking forward to having my say on how GT have let me down in so many ways. I have paid F&F in Sep 2011 and still waiting for completion certificate. I don't even think an hour face to face will be long enough to have my say but its more time that gt have ever given me.

Hi angiec and welcome to the forum

It seems you are also waiting a long time for your completion certificate. Have you enquired what is specifically causing the hold up?

Hi Mel. I was sadly retired from work on ill health and paid a lump sum from my pension to a F&F due to being unable to work. This was so i could be free of the worry of my iva and concentrate on my health issues. I
was then told delay due to backlog, then problem with one creditor being overpaid and then refund and then finally ppi then vat then mass variation meeting which when I rang last week was told would be in next couple of weeks. I was also told this last 6 weeks. Just feel that this episode is very much still hanging over me and has a big knock on effect on my ongoing health issues.

Try speaking to Karol Wilson directly if you can. She has a good track record of helping GT forum posters in trouble, and will want to assist if she can.
