Hi and welcome Slapnuts, having been a client of DFD my cost of arrangement referred to EIF's commission, I challenged this as I knew i'd also had a successful ppi claim without their inept assistance and got back just over £2000, if you feel this is incorrect then do please challenge this. There was also an uplift in my payments to DFD due to the monies received in PPI. Good luck and best wishes.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

Spoke to DFD and yeah its right, Well I'm in total shock after paying £19211.17, over 4years we only paid £4876.13 off the debts. we owed just over £17000 at the start of the IVA, that's £14335.04 in fees and VAT :-(

Ask for a detailed breakdown of those fees, and compare what has been charged to the terms of the IVA you signed up to. I am sure that there is a proper explanation for the costs, but you do need to make sure you understand how they have been calculated.

Just an update, after thinking and going mad all weekend about the money, I had to ring again today so glad I did, got a really nice man who understood why I was quite upset over the matter, £4607 paid to PPI company they use for the PPI I claimed myself trough the fsca and shouldn't have been paid to there company fuming don't even come close as 4 the office expenses he told me this was for ink and letter and he couldn't understand why this was £ 3740 as I've only ever had 4 letters over 4years no I can't 4 very expensive ink and envelopes and flown by Concorde I don't think so, should be ringing me back tomorrow when he looked in to why this as happened :-(
