I am new to the site. My IVA strted on June 25th 2007, initially for 60 months. I was gutted to receive notice in Feb 2012 that this was to be extended by 12 months as I had no equity in my property. I have now made 70 payments with only 2 more payments to make. It has been a really hard journey but so worth while. I have taken comfort and advice from the various posts on here over the years and have just found the courage to register so that I could thank all contributors for the plethora of sound advice and encouragement on offer. Roll on July and a debt free future!!

Hi and welcome. I'm glad the forum has given you comfort and advice along your journey. Hoping the last two months of your IVA run smoothly and it won't be long at all before you're debt free. Do keep posting.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Really pleased that you have reached the end of your IVA journey nearly and that you have taken the time to post on the forum - don't be a stranger - it still is there to help people post IVA and gives hope and encouragement to other members who are starting their journies.

Hi Grant

Congratulations on nearing the end of your 6 year IVA. Can I ask if you have been caught up at all in the PPI fiasco ?

Apology to Andy Davie! I replied with your own comments, not so hot at IT, I guess! Wanted to respond to your query regarding PPI. I am with DFD and they sent out some forms for me to sign from various credit cards etc. that I held as I entered my IVA. I have been notified of only one response from Lloyds TSB which noted I was owed c.£700 but that this would be sent to DFD and set against my IVA. Other than that, I have had no info. and I am hoping beyond hope that this does not hold up my certificate of completion in any way.
Thanks again for all the encouraging messages!
