Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice.
I made my last payment in Feb 13 and am waiting my completion certificate, I've been told by DFD that this may take up to 6 months. I work in the Insurance Industry dealing with claims and I've seen a new job advertised, the salary is significantly more than I am currently on. I am undecided as to whether to apply for it, as I am concerned that if a credit check is made then I will fail it. Does anyone have any thoughts ?
Now the wait for completion certificate!!

Hi Iain, your IVA will stay on your credit file in any case for 6 years from date of acceptance. Could you ask if they would be completing a credit check?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I would apply anyway -- if they ask, be honest. If you don't apply you will never know.

And ask DFD if they will make an exception in your case, and close their adminstration as soon as possible. I fail to see wby IPs are doing unecessary annual reports, when they could be final reports.
