Hi All

Has anyone very recently gone through the house valuation process with DFD?

Do they use Zoopla to get the valuation or other similar websites?

Or do they insist on you getting an estate agent round?

Thanks :)

Hi Til
We had to get the house valued and we went to a couple of local agents who valued it for free

The only correct way to get a property valued is to get a professional valuer around to see the house and value it accordingly. You will need to check with DFD directly to see if they allow other forms of valuation, but do remember that this may well determine whether you need to pay a further year into the IVA, so it is in your interests to get it as accurate as possible.

Hi Til having gone through this with DFD myself they do use the internet and Zoopla is one of them so make sure your details are correct and that they haven't overvalued your home. xxx
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

That's great thanks all.
Having checked Zoopla its quite accurate so if they use that it will be fair and if it is to be a professional valuer that'll be fine too as I can point out all the work that needs doing lol :)
Thanks again
