Hi - to answer the original post, yes the IVA will be affected as your circumstances will change if/when baby comes along. A new I&E would ne needed to determine if you can afford the agreed payments or if a reduction could be made.
Please do not let an IVA get in the way of having a family, a baby is a precious gift and will be worth any challenges you face with the IVA.
I currently have two years left. Would it be worth waiting around one year, then when the baby is born my IVA will be all but complete? Decisions Decisions Decisions....
From a person who has waited then had problems getting a baby i would say if you can and want to try now then do so. There is never a right time to have a baby and you can never 'afford' too but if you wait then god forbid it doesnt happen straight away or you sadly have a rough journey you may regret not trying sooner. From personal experience i woukd say just see how it goes! These things happen when least expect it!! maybe dont try but dont take precautions either ) if its what you and partner want jyst do it. As julie said children are a precious gift and cant put life on hold!! Go for it!!

Start trying now...don't wait........ It may take a while....
Sorry Lulj --- that made me laugh. I have this picture of a guy in goggles standing at the end of the bed ( fortunately I have only imagined the head), saying, " This may take a while ..... I'm going in!"
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I would also say if its want you both want then don't let the iva put you off. We had 2 children while in our iva and payments were adjusted accordingly, we were allowed to reduce them a few months before maternity leave started to get some bits for baby
