Well fingers crossed my Boyfriend should hear today the outcome of his full & final offer, his meeting was on Friday 8th March, but by the end of the day he still didn't know the outcome. He was told he should get a phone call sometime today, it's been a long weekend with the outcome of this hanging over us.
Hoping for a good result....will keep you all updated as soon as i hear from my other half.
Good luck stazza2486, the same thing happened to me on friday so i know how you feel, i rang them myself this morning at 10.30 as i couldn't put another day in waiting by the phone, and my F&F has been excepted so i really hope that you get the same fantastic news. x
I just replied on another post to you Diane, but again....congrats, my partner is at work at the moment, so im guessing he will just be waiting for them to call him. All this waiting around is a killer. I bet you are over the moon. So happy for you x
Finally had some contact! not the best news though
He's been told that because none of his creditors voted in favour or against the full and final, it has now been ajourned until Friday. My god after all this waiting around not knowing whats going on and now we have to wait even longer. I just want to cry
Creditors are definately getting tighter on reviewing early settlement offers - that is for sure - so do make sure if you are thinking of putting one forward, that you ensure it is the best you can do to get the better measure of success.
My boyfriend did put his best offer forward for the full and final, i guess if it does get rejected, then at least he can say he tried, Offering any further money would have made life a real struggle. We will just have to wait and see now, what will be will be.

Well after all that waiting from Last Friday, and then being told we should know the outcome on Last Monday instead, only to find out the meeting had been adjourned to Today.....it was good news afterall! Mt boyfriends offer has been accepted! (i had convinced myself it was going to be rejected).
This now feels like a new start for me & my Boyfriend, it took alot for him to eventually come clean to me all those years ago about his debt problems, i gave him all the support he needed and it was myself that pushed him into a debt management plan at the start, many years later he moved onto an Iva, and has been in his Iva for Just over a year now But with the threat of his company making redundancys, I asked my mum if she would be willing to help (us) out with the full and final money, thankfully she agreed. From now on i will keep my boyfriend on the straight and narrow and i do believe he has learnt a very valuable lesson through all this. Sometimes i sit back and think what would have happened if he hadn't of come clean to me about the debt problems! but.....onwards and upwards now, Today is going to be a fresh start!
