Hi
I have the date set for my creditors meeting 20th March at 10:30!
Im with Melanies team and Susan Clay is my IP.
My proposed payment is £475 a month which is 53p in the pound.
Im claiming £215 for petrol due to a 50 mile round trip to work and £70 for parking due to no parking facilities!
I was smoking 20 a day but have managed to half that so claiming £50 a month for that which worries me as i know at the moment i will not quit outright..its taken me a lot to reduce already! i know its a filthy habit etc but its a habit that ive got..
I just hope that they accept £475!
I have managed to get a rent reduction as i live with a friend and told her my circs and bargained a reduction so i could pay more into my IVA..
I guess its in the hands of my creditors now!

hi there

mels team as indeed most IPs these days wil only put forward proposals they feel will get accepted. Whilst its almost 7 yrs ago now that i started on the IVA , I indeed had high fuel costs as I also travelled 100 miles round trip 6 days a week for work and this was accepted

im pretty sure all will be ok for you
Last payment made April 2012
Certificate received 1st Nov 2012

Hi, good luck for the 20th, you've picked an excellent team to represent you so hang in there let them do their stuff and with the best offer on the table you should be reporting a positive outcome.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Thank you so much for chooosing our firm to represent to you, you are in the very best of hands with my colleague and close friend Sue Clay.

And don't worry about the smoking - I smoke the occasional ciggie, and am not embarrassed to say I actually enjoy them. Cutting down to half your usual intake is a great achievement in itself!

Fingers crossed for you on 20th March - I will be looking out for you.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner
