We have been in our IVA for 3 years allis going well (touch wood) but GE money are the only one of the creditors who keep sending us letters and statement of account, offering help with our debt!!. I caontacted our IVA company as I thought it was ilegal to keep sending us letters after the iva started. this is causing my wifes health to go bad again after all the initial stress. help

Craigiewicked1, I would just give them a quick phone cal reminding them you are in an IVA.
Alternatively just pop the letters from them in the post to your IP who will I'm sure contact them on your behalf. No need to worry about anything here.

You're protected by your IVA and I would refer them to the Insolvency register, send the letters to your IP asking them to contact GE and explain it's affecting the health of your wife.

They cannot continue to harrass you. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi. Some will send statements annually, but are generally marked "No payment required".
As long as they are not pressing for payment, either pass them to your IP or bin them. A helpful IP will have a word in their ear for you.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

If the letter says "this is not a demand for payment" etc, then there is no harm,it may just be a regular statment which they are meant to send out. If it is however a letter demanding payment then complain to the company in question 1st and foremost.

Basically dont worry about it.

Paul
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

GE Money, just reading the name makes me go cold.
They were our most persistent if not to say nastiest creditor prior to our iva.
Phone calls at work etc, very nasty edge to them.
Aucto Splendore Resurgo.
IVA accepted May 2007.
Extended by 12 months in lieu of equity March 2012.
F+F offer accepted May 2012.
C of C received August 2012.
IVA dropped off credit file 24th May 2013.
