The forum is a godsend to so many and not only the posters, there are others who just look in. Some post eventually others choose not to but I'm sure we touch the lives and hopefully help a lot more than we know.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I am one of those later Lesley, been on here for nearly 3 years since finding and only just started to feel confident to share experiences and offer advise based on just that, Godsend is such a good word to express what this forum and the member are :-) Thanks to all.
Took The plunge and made the call, changed our family life and we have never been happier. Debt free and wont go back..... IVA was by far the best thing we ever did to teach us the real value of Family and money

I joined this forum at my witts end with IVA stuff and have found a fantastic group of people who, like me, messed up a bit but are putting it right month by month! I am proud to be in such good company! X Emma I am super happy for you x

You tend to find for one person that plucks up the courage to ask what they think is a daft question at least ten are glad that it was asked.

Sharing experiences can actually make things easier for others, often bringing enough reassurance for someone to be able to sleep at night.

Without the forum, even with the best IP in the business on my side (my opinion) I don't think I would have survived the full 60 months. The friendship extends to FB for some of us and when FF meets are held it's just great to put faces to names. I converse regularly with many posters off the forum now too.

One of the better forum I frequent I do admit, non-judgemental and the ethos of the forum is always maintained. respect for all.

Just shed a few tears reading this thread!!! The most amazing bunch of people and to know that you are all out there has made my IVA easier as my husband and i have never told anybody!!! Not one single person, so it can feel very isolating until you pop into this forum and then you know you are amongst friends x

My IVA was done and dusted with a lump sum in 2009, and the easy thing to do would be to put it all behind me, and forget all things IVA, but I will never forget the help and support I had from people on this forum (some of whom dont post any more sadly), so I always look in from time to time and add my 2p worth where I think it might help others. I couldnt have got through the pre and post IVA process without the people on here, and of course Melanie and her team!
