I agree foggy. The certificate is very important as it proves how hard we worked and struggled to pay off most of our debt. We did not take the easy route out and we should be proud of where we are now.

Oh geordie i do feel for you,,i think you were in the same position as me with overpayments to creditors,,as you know GT have sent me my cc, and all the paperwork, but have a clause to say they where still dealing with the overpayments to creditors and a full and final distribution would be made at a later date,,so if they have done this i can,t understand why they can,t do this for you,,I also asked why they had never mentioned ppi to me,,i won,t tell you what they replied but was,nt very nice,,so they can shove it as far as i,m concerned,,

Thanks for your support Christine 53. They keep saying they will continue to ask for overpayment to be returned but this is a long process !! I am due another update on Jan 4th if I had received money I was not entitled to I would be in serious trouble and would be asked to immediately return it. How long does it take these days to transfer money over .

Well BE overpaid my creditors,,and GT took me on just as i was finishing my payments,,so they have had 20 months to chase this overpayment,,same for you i guess,,just ask your ip to sign you of and let them sort it out,,if they can do it for one, they can do it for all,,,

Just when you get to the end and you think it's all over, all these other problems arise. Reading all these poor people's problems with ccs etc is a bit dampening to the spirits.
Life after IVA is wonderful.

In the end, Wiggle, it merely prolongs the agony -- but we will all get there in the end, and all start our new debt free futures.

There are some marvellous IP's and support teams working out there in the insolvency industry, who take pride in their careers and gain satisfaction from helping their clients. Unfortunately, there are also those whose "clients" are the creditors and we are just cash cows.

I apologise... my views have become somewhat jaded over the past few weeks. I no longer feel like a client .........
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Second that one Foggy, i think some of the bigger iva providers need to remember from every acorn grows a tree and without the right nutrients etc it won't grow, some have grown too big and don't care anymore, cash cows i agree with, i just want my IVA over now, all this damn stress about PPI, VAT and anything other they can conjour is becoming tedious.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
