Had a letter from these this morning, another 'ambulance chaser' but has a lovely picture of a man called David Sharp (anyone heard of him?) basically asking if we are happy with our arrangement and how we can call him directly to have a personalised review of our IVA to see if there is a better solution that would see us free of debt within 12 months (bankruptcy by any chance?)

Obviously going straight in the bin, but it's the first time I've heard of these guys and wondered if anyone else had?

New one on me as well - can't even find a website for them.

Definitely best to bin it.

Not heard of them myself either - I think your filing system for these kind of letters sounds perfect!

I'd have to reply to him and ask him for an apology for intruding my privacy (but that's me). I've done that to all I've received (3) and always received a reply. x

This David Sharp has popped up again now trading as the "IVA Personal Insolvency Centre" but same jargon. Obviously off in the bin but how does he know we're on an IVA? he even knew how long into it we were!!!

It's all on the Insolvency Register, Stan :-(
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Quite agree with you there Lesley or it should be on a pay for information basis!
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

David Sharp is a scammer. He visited me and gave me a load of hogwash, which I fell for(yes I'm a fool), but he's very plausible. Paid him £500 to supposedly get me out of my iva. He sent them one letter, they refused.,that was it. He then refused to answer my calls and messages ... Total scam. Not funny when he'd been here, seen I was a single mum with 4 children!
