Did you sign the forms for EIF which they sent out? I only ask as I didn't and was told by Payplan that I didn't have to if I chose not to! Lo and behold I am then contacted by one if my creditors saying that a claim has been put in on my behalf!! I am still trying to get to the bottom of this as I did not authorise them to do so!! I was also told by the case officer and IP that they are able to do this! The case officer also said that as I had completed any monies raised would likely come to me!! I have emailed my IP to ask why they did this and again was told they could!! You may want to explore whether this is what they are doing hence the delay in closure!! When I complained the 1st time my cc was sent out within a week!!

I sent my stuff back with two lines through it and 'No PPI' written as instructed by Payplan. I did have a call from EIF but once I told them what we had done then I've heard nothing since and have had no contact from creditors.

I've heard nothing about VAT at all but as my IVA now has an extra 12 months to run, I hope it is sorted by then.

If the PPI claim is an asset of the arrangement, then your IP has to receive the money and distribute it to creditors regardless of whether the case has closed or not.

Muggins - My I ask when you recieved your CC? I also completed my IVA in Feb 2012 having made each and every payment on time. I am finding the whole situation rather frustrating as I would like to move jobs but with working in the financial industry no new employer will consider me as a candiate whilst being on the Insolvency Register. I do have to say that up until now I had nothing but praise for Payplan and it is a shame that this situation is likely to leave a bitter taste.

Hi! Yes no probs! I received my cc in June! Within a week of complaining my cc was on my doorstep! As stated above they have also advised that any monies received through claims are now ours to keep!
