Hi...
My car that i currently use is getting old and way too expensive to run, road tax, garage and petrol is draining my funds.
I need to change cars but cannot get a loan to fund one and there is no point getting a cheap car if its going to cost me the same as before! Ideally i need an eco car, one that consumes as little as possible, very low road tax and as new as possible.
My only option is to lease....so 1) is it possible to do this whilst in an IVA 2) who are the best people to do this with and 3) has anyone done this, what do they check, what deposit do they need, etc...
Any help gratefully appreciated [:)]

Hi,
It is possible to lease in an IVA but obviously you will need permission from your IP to do this.
Moneybarn and Carloans4U do leasing for those of us with a less than perfect credit history. You will need a decent deposit though.
Speak to your IP first though.

do these companies not loan you money to buy a car? I am only looking to lease a car on a 36 month term...are there any companies that specialise in this similiar to nationwidevehiclecontracts for example?

I think you'll struggle to find a mainstream company to lease a car with whilst in an IVA.
