I think it's a shame that Declan has stopped posting, and also that DFD don't seem to want to replace him.

Thats a shame, the loss of a professional devalues the forum somewhat.
Having said that, there have been quite a few vitriolic posts on here of late.
Aucto Splendore Resurgo.
IVA accepted May 2007.
Extended by 12 months in lieu of equity March 2012.
F+F offer accepted May 2012.
C of C received August 2012.
IVA dropped off credit file 24th May 2013.

It's a great loss to the forum and I am suprised that DFD are not having a presence on here.

The more professional input the better in my opinion.

Completely agree with OT and Kazzfunk - the professionals that post on the forum are highly valued and offer so much support to members - providing reassurance and answers to some of the non-case specifics ....it is a great shame to have lost Declan from the forum, but hopefully in the future he or another DFD representative will return.

It is a pity that DFD has chosen to withdraw from commenting and helping posters.

Part is surely the criticism leveled against his firm from posters who not always give the full facts as to what their Provider has told them and their own case specific circumstances.

My own firm ClearDebt has been the subject of criticism on this forum on the very same issues of PPI mis-selling and delays in completing IVA's.

My advice is to always contact your Supervisor (IP) in the very first instance and if you cannot get a response or you are not happy with the response, then seek guidance here - otherwise I am quite happy to look into and chase responses from DFD if necessary.

I agree with David Mond, in the very first instance contact your Supervisor and if you cannot get a response or you are not happy with the response, then come to the Forum.

I hope that Declan does make a return! Unfortunately people who are the face of a company will bear the brunt of an individual’s frustration at the firm they represent. It is not personal but no doubt can appear that way.

with respect David Mond, as an IP in your own right, I suspect you have never needed to contact DFD and so whilst a qualified and im sure competent IP, you are not in a position to advise and suggest that posters such as myself have not always been candid abot what DFd have actually said. If so, kindly reproduce on the forum ( without the posters name of course )

I have always supported DFD in the past and particularly Declan whom i repeat as i have said in many posts has been particularly helpful.

The customer service level at DFD had dramatically deteriorated in recent months and as a regulat forum poster am somewhat dissapointed at your comments, which i find somewhat scathing towrads myself as a client of DFD.

As opposed to levelling criticism at myself and fellow DFD clients on this forum, suggesting our comments have influenced Declans decision not to post, you may wish to consider that this criticism be levelled at DFD for their distinct dceline in customer service. It is not acceptable to be in a queue for 7 minutes and then their system tell you to email your enquiry and then hang up on you.

Im dissapointed that you feel the need to sit in judgement of DFD clients and would respectfully suggest that before future posts on this subject, you do a little more homework as to the actual service levels afforded to myself and fellow DFD clients and consider would you accept this sort of service from for example your electricity supplier at home if you were wanting to speak with them.

Its clear for all to see from the various posters that DFD service levels have clearly slipped, yet you seem fit to criticise us for discussing this. You will note that for example Melainies firm recvieves nothing but praise and DFD the oppsoite; theres a reason for this and its called customer satisfaction.

I think that David is suggesting that he can field any DFD related queries in the absence of Declan, where the IPs at DFD have been contacted but have been unable to provide a suitable or satisfactory response. Surely this is to be welcomed, that he would take time out of his day to try and intervene, rather than discouraged guys?
