Hi
I made my last IVA payment in Dec 2011 to DFD and am in the same boat being held to ransom firstly by the VAT issue which I thought was resolved in May 2012 by signing a variation form for my IVA to be closed and now by PPI. I contacted DFD in Nov 2011 when I received the PPI forms from EIF and told DFD that we have NOT been mis-sold PPI and have not heard anything more until I sent an email to my supervisor and received a response from customer services saying 'I can see from your account we currently have PPI being paid in, once the remaining claims are completed we will be able to update you further'

I emailed back saying how was this possible as I had not signed anything and was not sold PPI and was told 'Some creditors are looking at refunding the PPI without being prompted to do so first. We do however need a full review of PPI doing, so require you to complete the PPI pack that was sent to you a while ago'

I am 8 months down the line from my last payment and am going to make a compliant to the ombudsman. I think the very nature of insolvency is making it very easy for companies to bully debtors. I feel like I did when I was setting up my IVA and in fear of phone calls from creditors and I paid this company to help me!!!

Given that Declan is not so active on the forum these days, is there some way tat Admn can alert him to clients who are having problems?

I would say that Declan is a very busy chap at the moment, if the number of complaints on the forum is anything to go by. Do bear with him, as he prides himself in doing a good job for DFD clients, and has a good track record of success with other forum posters.
