As Lem says it will all go into the pot as an asset, some people don't like the thought of it being swallowed up and taken off the original debt but the way I look at it is that any money paid in no matter where it is from looks good and shows you are keen to help out as much as possible to get the debt down.
My view is that if I ever get into a position whereby I can make a FF offer then the PPI money has helped drag the debt down so the future offer need not be as big.
I was written too by NRAM (Northern Rock) saying that I could claim PPI back from miselleing on loan which is now in the IVA. The reply from NRAM, We agree that you were mis-sold PPI but we can't offer you anything on it as we agreed to reduced payments via the IVA.
So I assume any loan or credit card PPI included in the iVA wil not be paid out, even though one of them added an extra 85% on to the loan value.
Oh well bigger things to worry about.

To err is human. To teach 16-21 year olds is just damn crazy!!!
IVA Started October 2009.
33 months down - 27 to go
A lot of IP's are instructing firms to complete PPI claims and this in turn being paid into the IVA. You may hear from your IP during the course of your IVA x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

My understanding is you can make a claim against any loan etc even when it is in an IVA, The full balance of the debt is always due and no write off is made until the very last payment is made. If you had a windfall they would quickly take it off you to clear the full original balance not just the discounted amount.
Always make PPI claims yourself then any money goes 100% into the pot, if you use a third party then 25% or more goes to them, why give them money for doing something you could do yourself in an hour..
