hiya, does anyone have addresses for the three credit reference agencies?
Thought i might start with them to get my IVA marked as complete.
then try to find addresses for the various data controllers to have defaults after the IVA commencement date removed.

thanks kat

The 3 are Experian, Equifax and Callcredit.

Google them and all the info will be available for you.

Well done Kat

i have googled them, they seem to have plenty of offers for free credit reports for a month, but advice for statutory £2 reports, and an address to request ammendments seem to be well hidden!

Kat68 I suppose there's no harm, however I finished my IVA over the full term 60 months, but as my bank manager (nationwide) I wanted a flex account (blue debit card) instead of the cash card plus (red debit card) said I won't even lend you a crappy pen to sign it, let alone let you have a blue one! Why I said I have completed my IVA yes true said she...but it's still there! Come back when it's all dropped off (six years) well this September in my case.

hi sponge, i know Iva will remain on my record for a full 6 years, meaning i have just under 5 to go, but it would be nice to have credit reports updated with completed and also default dates corrected to when my IVA began as i am still being defaulted monthly. otherwise when my time is up, the defaults will not drop off if they are registered after the iva commencement date.
never again will i stick my head in the sand and hope for the best, so i thought i would write to CRA sooner rather than later.

I would give creditors a little time kat68, before you pay for credit checks to be carried out, as some of them can be a bit slow. I suggest you try in say three months time to avoid wasting money and then having to redo the exercise.

I've been lucky with Nationwide as well Kat. I've got the basic account that I opened when I went BR that I now use for housekeeping and I also have a full Flexaccount that I opened years ago. They weren't a creditor so I requested a new card so I could use the account. Much to my surprise they agreed and I have the blue debit card and a chequebook.

The addresses I posted are still on the websites so you will need to give them a call to confirm the correct address if you need to contact them if it's not clear from the websites.
