Hi, my auntie has asked if I (along with her two sons) will have power of attorney for her. Will I be able to do this in an IVA? Thanks (5 days to go till my creditors meeting!!!)

Hi. Yes, this will be OK. PoA only gives you the power to deal with her affairs, it does not give you ownership of any goods or monies, so should not interfere with the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Your IP will have no issue with you agreeing to do this, as Foggy has explained above.

Thanks all, that's a relief. I didn't want to tell her about the IVA. Thanks Dipsy, so nervous, am just wishing the days away at the moment, Friday 13th can't come quickly enough! x
