Hi DJW
I also three counts with Nationwide also, same as you. I am a little further down the line than you. Mr creditors meeting is tomorrow. I did receive three phone calls from Nationwide, one after the other for each of my accounts with them. Automated phone calls with various options ie you can set up a payment plan, make payment or speak to an adviser. I spoke to the adviser told them what I was doing ( IVA) and no more phone calls. They were very polite. All my Nationwide accounts were frozen, so make sure that if you have money in these accounts, move it to the Coop or other bank that is not a creditor, before the signed proposal forms are sent out. let us know how you progress and I will let you know how Nationwide voted tomorrow, Rich x

The blue cards from nationwide like a flex account are full blown VISA debit cards, the pinks like a cash card plus account are VISA debit cards with restrictions

I've got a Co-op Cashminder Visa Debit Card,it's been ok apart from a couple of times i.e at Pets at Home and M & S where I could make a Debit Card Payment, but not get any cash back. Had no trouble with it at Pay at Pump!
Have no regrets, the future is ours!

We've no problems with our basic Nationwide account at all, regardless of where we use the card.

I've had no problems using my Co op card either, seems to work fine everywhere I want to shop.
To answer Charlie76 question about nationwide voting, I had no problem at all they were my largest creditor apx £23,000 and voted for my iva with some minor modifications, my experience was pretty much how Mel described above they seemed a very supportive and understanding creditor.

well this answers a question for me, i tried to use my natwest debit card (basic account) at a pay at pump petrol station and it wouldn't work. I couldn't understand why as i new i had money in the bank. The real problem was that i was on my own with my 2 young children 180 miles from home!! I had £10 cash on me so drove to the next petrol station and was so scared of my card being refused i only put £10 fuel in so i new i had the cash if need be. Thankfully card worked at the till, and i then had to stop again to refuel closer to home!!!
