I have an IVA, which I completed the final payment in Spet 2011. My IVA company said it would take 6 months for closure, as yet it is 7 1/2 months and i am getting no answers as to why it is taking so long and when the final closure will happen. What can I do, how can I complain to, as I have complained to the company and am on the phone daily to them - help

Hi John.08

Welcome [:)] who is your IVA company? Someone from them might be on here and pick up on this thread. I was with GT and I got my CC about 3 weeks ago after 7 months wait so some companies unfortunately do take a long time.

All you can do, is call? email? send letters and ask for a reason for the delay, must admit mine has been 8 weeks since i completed and im getting fed up of waiting now, if i had to wait 6 months it would drive me crazy!! although they have had some issues with the VAT man!

Hello,

As the others have said, some completions are taking a long time due to VAT and PPI claims.

Which company are you with?
