Am i right in saying that my IVA started on 6-06-2006 and will come off 6-06-2012 ???

I believe you are, 6 years from date of acceptance. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

great news then no more public record does this mean i never have to tell people i went through an IVA

It depends - if you are asked if you have ever been insolvent or have ever been in an IVA you will have to say yes.

If you were to be asked on an official form then be honest but you don't have to tell anyone you don't want to

its wrong really i have done my time most forms ask if you have been insolvent but this does not include IVA does it.

Unfortunately it does include an IVA as it is a form of insolvency.

I would never condone lying if you are asked the question. Creditors are free to keep their own records for as long as they wish so there is a chance you would be found out.
