I have six mmonths to finish my IVA, as my final payment is due in November.
When I've made my final payment, do I need to do anything at all ? Do i get anything to say the debt has been paid, and will my credit file show that I've paid up
Just curious as to what happens, or do I ask Grant Thornton who are dealing with this
You will receive a certificate to show you are legally discharged from all the debts. You can send this to the credit reference agencies and start to clear up your file. GT post on here and can help you further if you need.
Gillian - Upon receipt of your final payment your case will pass to closure as long as all other assets have been paid as per the terms of your arrangement.
Please contact the Customer Service team on 0844 8552166 and we will be able to clarify for you,
Kind regards
Karol

I would like to say thank you to you all for commenting its been such a hard journey, but as so looking forward to paying my last payment, I'm paying a little early early month, so although officially my end date is the 8th of November, my last payment will be the end of October, so 6 more payments, it seems such a lot when i agreed to 60 payments, and now 54 paid and only 6 left
