Hi I was wondering whether anyone knows how long a final review usually takes? I made what I hope to be my final payment on 26th March 2012, my relationship manager said all she needed was my pay slip for march and then she could do my final review and inform me as to whether I need to pay any more money across into the IVA. I didn't have my March pay slip ( don't usually get them until the beginning of the following month) so I sent in a copy of my bank statement showing my wages going in. This was 2 weeks ago roughly and I've heard nothing. I've tried ringing my RM but just get her voicemail, I've left 2 voicemails and shes not ringing me back. I'm getting concerned as another payment is due to go out in 2 weeks (I was told not to cancel the dd incase I needed to pay more money across) but I don't want to pay anymore if I don't have to.

I may be worrying over nothing but just wondered if anyone knew of the timescales for this, I'm with freeman jones if that helps.

Why don't you cancel the DD and if there is any further payment due you can either reinstate the DD or make a debit card payment over the phone x

Hi Clare03 and welcome to the forum…

Great news on having almost completed your IVA.

I am sorry that you have had some trouble getting hold of your Relationship Manager. It is not what we’d expect so I’d like to look into this for you.

Clearly I appreciate that you are anxious not to make another payment if you don’t need to. My expectation is that we will complete the final review in good time, but just to be on the safe side (for example it may be that the bank statement didn’t arrive) please do give us a call. If you ask to speak to my colleague, Steve Grogan, he is expecting your call.

I am sure that we can get this sorted quickly for you and, hopefully, you won’t need to make any further payments and you can put your IVA behind you!

Hi Sarah

Thank you for your response. I called your office a little while ago however Steve Grogan was unavailable, I spoke to another RM (she didn't give me her name) and she confirmed she would send Gemma an email asking her to contact me so I guess I wait for the phonecall!

Glad you're sorted Claire.

Sarah, can I suggest that you contact Andy Davie so that he can make you an expert?

Hi Sarah, yes all sorted now Gemma Called me last night, final review done and dusted just waiting for file to be checked off by IP then gotta wait for completion certificate.

Still doesn't seem real that it's all finished after 5 long years, don't think I will really believe it until I get my certificate!

Gonna start saving now so I can visit my best friend in New Zealand (I havent seen her 3 yrs and missed her wedding) so fingers crossed I'll get there next year.

Thank you to everyone who has given me advice on here, I haven't posted a lot just generally lurked and usually found information to help me at that time. But thank you all anyway and I wish you all every success with your IVAs and debt free lives that follow! I know I'm certainly never getting in debt again! x

Another shining example of how this forum is able to help people communicate better and quicker with their IPs.

Well done to all of the team at Freeman Jones for being open and honest about dealing with this matter, and good luck to you Claire for your trip down under. I am jealous, but planning a trip to Oz next year, so I will have to wait a little longer!
