Completely agree with you there Foggy, I have been in complete tears over my IVA sometimes and Melanie has always sorted it!

I read some on the posts on the forum about other peoples IP's and it horrifies me the way some of them are treated, it's like they are just a "number" to these Debt companies.

I do believe that in most cases the IP does not get to sit in the decision chair or even get to hear about a query unless it gets ugly. The decision makers are the ones who answer the phone, these are the one's who can't do joined up thinking. Mel is just lucky to be surrounded with partners and staff who can also do joined up thinking.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

It is annoying having to hand over your bonus when you need it for other things but the thing is out money isn't our own in an iva, we've pledged it to creditors and they get to say what we can keep. The IP isn't saying you can't have a car; just that you can't keep all your bonus which isn't quite the same thing. Have you asked them about Mel's suggestion? There's no point threatening them with 'no job, no iva' as you'll only hurt yourself if you put this to the test. I know you're worried because I've been in the same position, but we have to play with the hand we're given. The IP can issue a notice of breach if you withold your bonus and the iva can fail if you don't rectify the breach.

Thanks everyone.
But to broke of london im not threatening my ip with 'no job,no iva'..i sincerely mean it because my job has led to me to being clinically stressed and depressed and im ready to pack it in!! :(
An IVA is a long hard road but valuable lessons have been learnt along the way. Now looking forward to enjoying a debt free future!

Just picked up on the latter comments on this post and thanks to DevonLassie for sharing her own experiences of IVA supervision. I cannot believe you only have 3 payments to go!
